The theme for today is to share a piece that gets tons of compliments. Weeeelllll...I work from home, mostly by myself. Very few people see what I'm wearing, unless I put it on Instagram. Plus, I live in a house of men, and unless I were to show up in hunting gear, I don't think they pay any attention to what I have on. All of that to say, there aren't a lot of outfit compliments flying around over here!
However, one thing that has been getting lots of comments on IG is my decision to wear more dresses this winter. I really enjoy wearing dresses the rest of the year, so why not now?
I pair them with a jacket or sweater, tights or leggings, and boots. Unless the day is super cold, I'm pretty comfortable. And even though no one else may notice, I always feel better if I put on some pretty clothes!

DeleteLook at all your dresses! And, I love the hunting gear comment. I bought a camo jacket - and all my husband can do is joke about it (and most people tell me that can't "see" me - sorry, I digress). But, yes to dresses in the winter!

DeleteOne of my friends used to work with all men, and would say the same thing. Yet she still dressed up and had fun with her clothes. Just like you with the dresses, Lana. I love that you did this. I told myself to wear more last summer, and I did. Now I should try for the rest of our winter (you know...3 more months...ha ha)

DeleteSo funny but even though it's warm here I don't really gravitate towards dresses in winter. Although it is 85 degrees and a dress would be more than appropriate I still lean towards pants. When summer rolls around I am all about the dresses they are so much cooler!
