Happy Wednesday and welcome to TBB Style with The Blended Blog. This is my second fashion post this week - who am I? If you missed yesterday, be sure to go check out my dressed up puffer vest with the fashionable ladies of Ageless Style.
Today we're sharing Valentine's Day looks. As previously mentioned, we don't do Valentine's Day at my house. But I'm always a sucker for a good heart sweater!
I actually picked this one up at the Gap while Christmas shopping (oops). You can't tell in the picture, but the heart is sparkly and fuzzy and fun. The outfit needed a little red, so I added a buffalo plaid shirt underneath. And my white jeans. Every year I have good intentions to wear these white jeans all winter, and then I forget. Black might have been better, but the white went with the 12 inches of snow we currently have. Yay.
Speaking of Valentine's Day attire, George recently mentioned that he really likes red dresses. We've been together for 37 years - how did I not know this until now? I checked my closet, and nope, no red dress. Clearly, he was trying to say that he wants me to go shopping for a new red dress. Any suggestions?
Our hostess this week is Andrea, so be sure to pay her a visit and add your post to the link up, or join us with #theblendedblogstyle.
Haha, too funny that you're just learning about George's love for red dresses :) And that sweater is so cute. I'm a sucker for anything sparkly. And I love how you layered it.
ReplyDeleteI know, right? I guess I haven't been paying attention!
DeleteI love the buffalo plaid under that sweater- I haven't layered like that in ages!
ReplyDeleteLove my buffalo plaid!
DeleteLet me put in my two cents that I ADORE this outfit. Especially with the white jeans. And that plaid under it.
ReplyDeleteCan you believe I have nothing with hearts on it?? You need a red dress and I need hearts. We need to go shopping together!!

Well you definitely need a red dress. I bought 3 new dresses at Talbots, for a steal! I, need a heart sweater though. Yours is adorable and I love how you styled it. Welcome by Thursday and linkup with me.
ReplyDeleteHappy Valentine's Day!
This is such a cute post! I am a fan of all things heart and can totally relate to wearing them even if we aren't celebrating Valentine's Day. I think wearing it with white jeans worked well. I like it and the buffalo shirt was a fantastic idea. It adds that red component to make it pop!
