Fall Is Coming With Ethyl Clothing

Fall is coming, and while I'm sorry to see summer go, sweaters and booties are my fave. I'm excited to spend a little time this weekend switching over my closet to some early season staples.

I have to admit that I'm a creature of habit, usually shopping at a handful of stores.  So when Ethyl Clothing contacted me, I was intrigued.  Not only does the company pride itself on creating unique, quality clothing with a superior fit for real women, they are also based here in Seattle.  I love supporting local businesses.

Before my son headed back to college, I asked him to shoot some pictures for me.  We decided on a local park because of the pretty flowers and walking trails.  I used to bring the boys here when they were little, and it brought back so many memories of tadpole hunting and playing tag. This time he was all business, bossing me around to get just the right shot.  But I didn't mind, because I had him all to myself for a bit.

A nice pair of black pants that fit well should be in every wardrobe, and they've been missing in mine.  I was excited to find The Julia.  They have a slim fit, but with plenty of stretch and a pull on style, which is really flattering.  The cutouts and bling on the bottom add something different and fun. 

I chose this sweater coat for two reasons:  the print and colors are so pretty and perfect for fall, and it looked really warm online.  It didn't disappoint, and this will be my go to sweater when the weather turns chilly.   For now I'm layering it over the Laila tank, but later I can add a turtleneck for extra coziness.

While Ethyl Clothing has been in business for over 30 years, they are just branching out into online sales.  If you check out their site, keep in mind that their clothing is sized one size larger than a standard fit.  They offer excellent customer service and free return shipping in case you're not satisfied.

It was fun to step outside my comfort zone with this outfit from Ethyl Clothing.  Everything is beautifully well made, and I'll be able to mix and match with other pieces in my closet.  Bring on fall weather!
