Wednesday afternoon, graduation happened.
And I was so busy being proud, I kind of forgot to be sad. Yes, a few tears were shed, but they were mostly the happy sort.
Although I still can't quite figure out how we got from here...
To here...
Blink of an eye.
Annnnndddd, now I'm sad. The only thing to do is take myself off on vacation. I'll be back in a week or so, but in the meantime, follow me on IG to see what we're up to!
Congrats to your son! You raised an amazing young man! Enjoy your vacation!

Congrats! Glad you were too busy to be sad and now vacay!! Love to you!
ReplyDeleteSomeone asked me yesterday if I cried at vacation, and I said the same thing you did here. We have been "trial empty nesting" this week, as my son left to spend a week with his sister -- and I have been in quite a slump! Fortunately, a weekend full of fun activities did help. I'm glad you have your vacation to distract you - have fun!!
ReplyDeleteAt the risk of getting dry eyes, I am hesitating to blink more and more these days. So much can change. Hope you are enjoying vacation! Be safe.
ReplyDeleteAwwww big congrats to your fam!! And no need to be sad - growing up is a good thing! Of course as I say that I'm crying about my toddler getting bigger on the daily. So basically, I get you!

I am following your adventures on IG and it looks as if you're having a ball. I'm so glad. I hope the time passes very slowly and the four of you enjoy every moment.
ReplyDeleteI saw some of your pictures what fun! That's one of two states I haven't been to yet. One day. I haven't been to Alaska either and that's first on my list!
