I spent the weekend surrounded by eighteen year olds, on a college campus where I myself was a young adult, thirty years ago. If that doesn't make you feel your age, I don't know what would.
But even though I'm getting older, I refuse to get old. At least not yet.

It's Monday (again?) so I'm linking up with Shaunacey for Monday Moments of Gratitude. If you haven't read her blog, please head there today, because she's awesome. And her kids are super cute. This week I'm grateful for:
- Road trip! Not much makes me happier than a sunny day road trip with my three favorite men.
- I've written entire posts about the wonderfulness that is my husband. He's smart, funny, kind, a great dad, and a faithful friend. Yes, he can be a stubborn pain sometimes, but it's worth it. I'm so grateful I get to call him mine.

I'm also linking up my Month in Numbers post with Deena today. You need to head to her blog today too, because she's also awesome. And her kids are also super cute. Apparently I have a thing for Canadians.

AND, don't forget about Style Perspectives, coming on Wednesday. It's my turn to host this week, and I chose to style a spring sweater, jeans and flats. Shocking, I know. I hope you'll join us!
I refuse to get old too. I don't feel old so I'm not is my motto! Sounds like you had a fun weekend!

DeleteSuch a fun family photo, and I'm so glad the college visit went so well.We are only as old as we feel - and that can really vary for me, day-by-day! Looking forward to your fashion advice on Wednesday!

Yay for family road trips! I love a great family outing. And yep, not getting old, not getting old.
ReplyDeleteLana... I love that quote about being old but not acting like it... until I have to move around sometimes... hence why I need to get back in shape... I definitely don't feel old in my mind... :)
ReplyDeleteI remember reading something about how a person had an issue that they needed an adult for and they realized they were an adult... so the started looking around for an older adult... that would be me... lol
When we were in Gatlinburg, TN we were reminiscing about our last family vacation together and I have to say I shed a tear. Mine are grown and flown, thankfully they made pretty cute offspring haha!
ReplyDeleteLove that quote too! The older I get, the older old seems. And cheers to supportive husbands! What would we do without them?
ReplyDeleteIt's so true. It's like what Indiana Jones says. "It's not the years. It's the mileage."
ReplyDeleteI know it's halfway through now, but happy week!
I need to remember this because lately I've been feeling old and tired, especially when I am working out with a group of 20 somethings. Looks like you had a fun time with your family. I am glad I stopped by.
