There's good news and bad news today.
Sadly, the Summer Style Challenge has come to an end. As usual, I had fun participating with a great group of ladies who uplifted and supported each other. I was able to follow the challenge outfits fairly closely due to summer weather cooperating this year. Yay sunshine!
In good news - I found a kimono! It only took two months of searching, but I'm very happy with this one. I love the paisley pattern and the colors, AND it was on clearance at Kohl's for $10. Which is practically free.
Be sure to check out the Style Me Bloggers for their recap of the challenge, and come back on Friday when we'll be sharing our summer go-to style.

Normally I'd be trying to figure out how to dress myself now that the challenge is over, but my good friend Carrie has taken care of that problem for me. Be sure to stop by her blog, A Lovely Little Wardrobe, and check out Create28 Summer Looks. Each day in July Carrie, Casey and Whitney will share an outfit prompt, with a linkup on Mondays. Lots of fun!

I love my yellow iphone too - it makes me happy every day!
DeleteIf I wasn't following your blog, I would still think that a kimono was just a Japanese robe... but, thanks to you, I know they are a fashion trend! I always learn something here!
ReplyDeleteIt was news to me too Susan!
DeleteI have to agree with Susan. I've learned so much about clothes from you. I've never enjoyed it before but you make it fun and interesting!
