Today I'm linking up with my blogging buddy Deena at Shoes To Shiraz to share June in numbers. I decided to combine it with my monthly gratitude post, so here is what I'm grateful for this month, in numbers...
--8 wonderful women. I got to spend lots of time in June with these amazing, smart, beautiful ladies. I love my sister, cousins, and new friends - and I'm so grateful to have them in my life.
--1 successful oral surgery. Everything went well (thank you Dr. Hong), and I'm one step closer to getting my disastrous teeth straightened out. Fingers crossed, I'll be able to start my Invisalign treatment next month.
--3 posters, 6 hot dogs, and 1 great father. We spent father's day watching movies, hitting up the Farmer's Market, and enjoying dinner prepared by the boys. Which consisted of grilled hot dogs, baked beans and coleslaw. I had some movie posters framed and hung in our tv room as G's gift. So grateful for this fantastic husband and father.
--11 days and counting of hot weather. I'm pretty sure I'm the only one in Seattle who's enjoying our 85+ degree days. But I love getting up in the morning to sit on my deck, and not be cold. I like walking outside at any time of the day, in tank tops and flip flops, and not feeling cold. I clearly was supposed to live in this kind of climate.
--78 classmates who attended our 30th high school reunion. It was great to catch up with so many people from the class of 1985. G didn't want to go, but once we arrived, he was "friendliest", just like the old days at Mariner High.
This is his excited face - goofy guy. |
I love gratitude posts Lana, they are such great reminders of what's really important.
ReplyDeleteI could go for that good weather too... but I'm grateful for the decent weather we have been having. I plan to appreciate all of it after our nasty winter ♡ xox

Deletewhat a lovely list - and some nice family/friend photos thrown in as a bonus - hope you get some cooler weather soon x

Thanks Jill - hope you had a great weekend!
DeleteWhat I wouldn't give for 85 degrees and low humidity right now! Enjoy your 4th of July, Lana!
ReplyDeleteThanks Laura! I think everyone would enjoy it more if we had air conditioning!
DeleteGreat post, I can't believe our outing was a month ago :( I miss you already.
ReplyDeleteI miss you too. We need to start planning another meet up...
DeleteLooks like you had a great month! I hope you have a fabulous holiday weekend! I'm going on vacation myself so I'll be back to posting on the 15th!

ReplyDeleteIt was so much fun to walk with you!

ReplyDeleteThanks Sarah. Looks like you had a great weekend!
DeleteOh to have 85 degree days and call them hot. It's like 110 here! Awful.
ReplyDeleteHappy 4th of July to you!!! Xo
Well, when you don't have air conditioning, 85 feels a lot hotter. I can't imagine 110 though. Hope you had a great weekend!
DeleteI was just telling my hygienist that I've had two oral surgeries. I so get it about disastrous teeth!
ReplyDeleteAnd it hasn't been hot here yet.. really at all. Not since 2014 and even that summer wasn't hot. It's weird!
It looks like we're finally going to start cooling off later this week. I'm actually kind of sad about it!
DeleteI love your graditutude posts! This is a great one, I hope you have a great 4th and a fab start to July :)
