I love to decorate for the 4th of July. In fact, my decorations make me so happy, I usually leave them up until the end of August. There's something so summery about red, white and blue!
A good reminder, don't you think?
Patriotic tic tac toe. My boys loved this when they were younger.
I looked everywhere for a festive banner for my mantel, and finally decided to make one myself.
I hope everyone has a safe, fun, happy 4th of July. We'll be staying home, making sure our house doesn't burn down. Last year I wrote about the fireworks war zone that my town becomes on the holiday. We've had unusually hot, dry weather for the last few weeks, so my husband will be ready with the hose!
Love your decor!! Happy 4th!
ReplyDeleteThank you - to you too!
DeleteLana... I love the red/white & blue... very patriotic... definitely watch out for those fireworks...as pretty as they can be.. they can be dangerous... have a happy 4th ♡
ReplyDeleteI think they're going to be extra dangerous this year with our hot, dry weather. The hose will be ready all night!
DeleteGreat job on the banner, Lana! I need to make me one as well! Maybe next year! Yep! One of my firecracker projects would look so cute with your already fabulous decor! Have a great 4th and I hope to goodness there are no fires near you!
ReplyDeleteThank you Laura. I definitely want to try making a firecracker to add to my collection!
DeleteHa- fireworks war zone...I can just picture him, armed with a zone and spraying down people.
ReplyDeleteOh, he would if he could. And he might!
DeleteAll of your decorations are so cute Lana - your house must look so festive! I especially like the Relax sign, the wooden drums, and of course, your beautiful banner! I never thought to add a banner to my mantle for holiday decor - but now perhaps I might! Have a wonderful - and safe - 4th of July weekend!
ReplyDeleteThank you Susan. Hope yours is wonderful too - isn't your son coming home soon?
DeleteYour decor is so cute! I love the banner you made!

Thanks Jill!
DeleteLove the decorations Lana! We're going to a family picnic, but will be home before fireworks. I don't like to be gone then either you just never know. I'm leaving next Thursday for a short vacation back home to KY. I'll be back late Monday evening. I promised to completely unplug for the 5 days YIKES!!!!
ReplyDeleteA 5 day unplugged vacation sounds wonderful! We're going camping in a few weeks, and I'll be doing the same for a few days. Have a great weekend!
DeleteLove it, want to come decorate my house! How did you make the banner?
ReplyDeleteSure - can I swim in your pool :)! I'll send you an email about the banner.
DeleteI love your decor!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteLove this!! I especially love you flag pallet!!
ReplyDeleteI always need a reminder to relax!
ReplyDeleteI love your decor. It reminds me of the giant July 4th parties my parents used to throw. I miss those.
Me too - which is why I have that on my mantel almost year round.
DeleteGreat banner!! Even better that you made it yourself. Yay, YOU!
ReplyDeleteThank you sweet Leslie!
