Of all the looks during the 21 day challenge, this one is my favorite. Even though I'm just wearing white jeans and a tshirt, the necklace, jacket and sandals pull everything together. It was very easy and super comfortable.

Of all the looks during the 21 day challenge, this one is my favorite. Even though I'm just wearing white jeans and a tshirt, the necklace, jacket and sandals pull everything together. It was very easy and super comfortable.

I always feel better taking things up a notch even when I know I probably won't be leaving the house except to walk the dog! The last outfit with the red jacket and graphic tee is my favorite too! Such a cute look!

Doused In Pink
Thanks Jill!
DeleteI love all your looks, Lana, but my favorite is your favorite! Ha! What can I say? We have great taste! Hope you've recovered from the ropes this past weekend!
ReplyDeleteI'm finally starting to recover, I think. Thank you!
DeleteYou look fantastic in your favorite outfit. The color is wonderful and you exude confidence! Loved seeing your picks for spring.
ReplyDeleteJoy, you are so sweet. I'm looking forward to the summer challenge!
DeleteI have started to hear your voice in my head Lana. I never gave much thought to what I wore on days when I am home alone, but now sometimes I do! Love all these pictures, and coral is a really pretty color on you!
ReplyDeleteHa ha - I love that I'm in your head Susan!
DeleteI completely agree how one little item can turn you from feeling drab to fab!
ReplyDeleteOoh...I like this last outfit. Might need to pin that : )

Suzanne
Thanks Suzanne!
DeleteI appreciate your comment that you think through this challenge you finally found your own style. I think each challenge has been transformative at some level for me. I totally agree that accessories, a jacket, the right pair of shoes can take a kind of ho-hum outfit and make it personal to you. Love the way you took a simple graphic tee to a professional level with your great blazer. Your outfits are always spot-on and so are your blog posts. Let's do lunch.
ReplyDeleteHee hee - I truly hope we get to do lunch someday!
DeleteAbby Marie :) It's been such a pleasure getting to know you through these challenges! I love ALL of your outfits and the way you can turn them up just a notch to a very cute, "working from home casual chic" look :) Looking forward to seeing your summer outfits, too!! xoxoxoxo ~ Casey
ReplyDeleteThanks Casey. I've enjoyed getting to know you too. See you in the summer challenge!
DeleteI like your look! I need to start wearing things other than jeans and a t-shirt.
ReplyDeleteYou're halfway there - just add a necklace!
DeleteIt's a wonderful look. You've definitely inspired me to step it up a bit. I do fine in summer but the other seasons confound me!
ReplyDeleteThanks Tamara. I definitely dress better in spring and summer. When it's cold all I want to do is wear big sweaters and jeans.
DeleteIt is amazing what a jacket over a graphic tee does. That is my fave outfit too!
ReplyDeleteThanks Christy!
DeleteLove that graphic tee:)
ReplyDeleteThanks Nicole!
DeleteI love that chevron necklace! So cute! And I also love a tee paired with a blazer! You are doing a great job being in charge of getting dressed(: Susan
ReplyDeleteThank Susan. It's definitely a work in progress :)!
Deletelove the black lace top on you, and you totally rock the white jeans!!
ReplyDeleteIt's so funny, the end of challenges is always funny when you go back to dressing with no guidance lol it's just not the same is it?! summer challenge is soon enough :)
I stood in my closet today and could not figure out what to wear. I need Alison!
DeleteYou always look chic, comfy and totally like yourself in denim, Lana. The one with the white jeans and pink jacket is my ultimate favorite. =)
ReplyDeleteWelcome by and link up with me, today. Thanks and happy Mother's day weekend!
Thank you Ada! Hope you have a wonderful weekend too!
DeleteI loved this challenge more than any of the others! I just wish I could get the looks to carry over in my mind when I get to the store. I walk in look around and am seriously at a loss! I can't seem to figure out how to put these looks together. I need you for a shopping buddy! I hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day!
ReplyDeleteShopping can definitely be overwhelming, because there's so much stuff! It's best to just start with a few mixable pieces. We will definitely go shopping together someday!
DeleteThat bright blazer with the printed tee works well!! Such a fun challenge, I really need to join it somex!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Carrie. I think you'd enjoy the Style Challenges, although you always look great on your own!
DeleteI'm home most of the time too, but always feel better when I can get a little bit dressed up. Your bright blazer is great, I especially love the necklace you chose to wear with it!
ReplyDeleteBrooke
Thanks so much Brooke. The necklace came from Nordstrom and it was only $16!
DeleteI agree with you about the jeans and graphic tee. Something about a graphic tee just makes a look more put together. Adding a jacket does even more in the regard.
ReplyDeleteI need to look for more graphic tees - they add a lot to any outfit!
DeleteLove your fave look too! Aren't the easiest looks always the best?? Loved doing the challenge with you again!! And Happy Belated birthday!! So sorry I missed it! Hope you had a fabulous day! xoxo
ReplyDeleteThank you Katie! The easy looks are definitely my favorite!
