Your Favorite Color and You

One of my favorite things about spring is all the color.  After a long, gray winter in the Pacific Northwest, I love the bright hues that April brings.

Recently I was cleaning out some old boxes from my college days.  Yes, thank you, they're really old.  I came across an assignment called "what does your favorite color say about you?" from an Interior Design class I took freshman year.  Check out your favorite color and see if it fits your personality.

Those who love Green are often serene, stable and approachable.

Purple is associated with people who are unconventional and creative.  It's also one of the least common colors chosen when people are asked about their favorite.

Orange loving people are outgoing, warm and enthusiastic.  

Pink is actually just a tempered red.  Those who choose this color are usually romantic, sweet and gentle.

Speaking of red, it's usually associated with extroverted, assertive personalities.

Blue lovers are calm, trustworthy and dependable.  This is the most popular "favorite" color!

Those who choose brown are down to earth, reliable and responsible.

Black suggests a person who is strong, sophisticated and sexy.

If you love yellow, your personality is cheerful and energizing.  

White loving people are orderly and fastidious, and others see them as a breath of fresh air.

And finally, gray.  This color is associated with those who are composed and cool.

For me, I have a hard time choosing between pink and yellow, two of my favorite colors. But after re-reading this assignment, I think black should be my new favorite. Apparently if I want to be seen as strong, sophisticated and sexy, I should put on a little black dress.
