During my shopping ban I stayed far away from temptation, but having mom here was a good excuse to shop.
The stores were bursting with pretty spring looks, and everywhere we went we saw the loveliest knee length midi skirts. Florals, geometric patterns and lace were the most popular, but we also saw sexy insets and romantic tulle.
Working from home, I don't have a big need for skirts in my wardrobe. But if I did, I'd have one of each of these!
For more spring inspiration, be sure to check out Create28 at A Lovely Little Wardrobe, where my friend Carrie is co-hosting and sharing different spring looks during the month of April.
And be sure to come back next week for my first look at the Spring Style Me Challenge. The shopping list was released last weekend, and I'm excited to see what outfits Alison has in store for us!
I love midi skirts but like you, I work from home so they would not get worn very often. These are all gorgeous picks! My favorite is #1!

I love that one too, and it would go with so many tops.
DeleteI love this style of skirt too! Beautiful and fun for Spring! I work from home also, so I don't do skirts very often but I might have to break down when the weather warms up! Great picks!

Thanks Audrey. I think I'm going to have to buy one too - it will give me an excuse to get dressed up!
DeleteI love the black one... it's so pretty.. not sure I could wear it to church or work though... floral is always pretty too ♡
ReplyDeleteIsn't that black one fun? I'm probably too old for it though!
DeleteWhat can I say? I have expensive tastes! My fav is #4 and it's nearly $900!!
ReplyDeleteI think that's my favorite too!
DeleteI love the length, but I have never found skirts with gathers and pleats off of the waistband to be very flattering on me. If they were, I would definitely wear #1 or #2.
ReplyDeleteI think a midi skirt would be lovely on you Susan!
DeleteI hit the outlet mall this past weekend when our company was here and saw one of these and fell in love with it! I haven't worn a dress in years, but this one I would definitely make an exception for. I didn't buy it buy I may go back to get it now though!
ReplyDeleteI think you should, and then I want to see it!
DeleteI love these...wish they flattered my figure...but for the right body type they are perfect.
ReplyDeleteI think the length is good for everyone, it's just finding the right fit that's the trick!
DeleteJust back from LA where my mom (92) was looking for a skirt during one of our shopping runs. She didn't find one but got some lovely pairs of pants. As for me - I 'm like Susan F. I can't wear anything with pleats or gathers off the waistband. Love #3 - the black number but sadly it's way out of my age range I suspect.
ReplyDeleteMe too, although I do love the black one.
DeleteLove these! And thank you for the excuse to go shopping :)
ReplyDeleteGlad I could help :)!
DeleteHeading out this weekend in search of the perfect floral midi but haven't seen many yet around El Paso. Any suggestions where I should look? Love your suggestions above but not sure I can do tulle or organza. Great post!
ReplyDeleteMy mom and I saw them in almost every store we went into - Loft, Macy's, Nordstrom.
DeleteI'm big on midi skirts. LOVE them! My favorite is the floral one :)
ReplyDeleteFound you via the linkup. Would you like to follow each other on GFC and social media? Pls let me know if you’re up for it :) xoxo

I love the floral one too! Just started following you on instagram and twitter.
DeleteSo cute! I'm a skirt wearer, myself. Love all of these!
ReplyDeleteI would like to wear more skirts!
DeleteI don't have a lot of skirts - something about my hips. And I feel matronly with long ones but weird with short ones. These midis are PERFECT.
ReplyDeleteI think this style of skirt would be lovely on you!
DeleteGreat picks, love #3!

DeleteLook forward to summer when I can wear more skirts! These are adorable!
ReplyDeleteMe too! Thank you!
DeleteSuch pretty skirts! My fave is the organza and the pink lace ones!
ReplyDeleteI love the organza one, but I have no idea where I would wear it.
DeleteI think midi skirts are perfect for spring! I all of the picks you made!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteWent to a wedding recently and variations of #3 was the bridesmaids dresses, in longer length, and many attendees.
ReplyDeleteThat style would make a lovely bridesmaid dress.
