One Of Those Days
It's been one of those days - and my first bad blogging day since starting three months ago. I worked for hours on a post, but when I went to put the finishing touches on it tonight, it was gone. Poof. I don't know what happened and I'm honestly too tired to try and figure it out :).
So instead I bring you this picture, which perfectly sums up how I feel about this turn of events.
There's actually a short, funny story about the photo. Last summer I took T and some friends to the fair. After lunch they were anxious to hit the carnival rides, so I left them and went to look at the fun craft and animal displays. When I returned an hour later to see what they were up to, I found them on this bench trying to recover. The combination of fair food and too many rides had made them all nauseous.
Ahh...teenagers. You gotta love em.
This blog today, not so much.

Don't you just HATE it when that happens???
ReplyDeleteThat photo does sum it up quite well. : )

I still haven't figured out where the post went. Floating somewhere in the interwebs I guess!
DeleteI have had so many of those days! So frustrating.
ReplyDeleteOh no...there will be more :)?
DeleteWe all have those days. Funny story and picture though.

Thanks Angela!
DeleteI'll BET!!! (laughing)
ReplyDeleteYeah, my blog and I are not friends today. Oh well.
DeleteI miss being a teenager! The imagination, free spirit, and innocence is all what made being a kid fun! As an adult we have so many things to worry about! But then again...I definitely DO NOT want to redo High school!

I agree - I would not want to do high school again! But the other teen stuff was fun.
DeleteThey are all adorable!
ReplyDeleteYou will find that post with all of your missing socks.
Oh my goodness, this made me laugh so hard! Or maybe it's with my reading glasses that I can't find either.
DeleteWhat's more important is that you put something up regardless. Your blog kicked your butt, but you kicked back...good for you!
ReplyDeleteI hadn't thought of it that way! Thanks for the positive thought :)
DeleteUrg, so disappointing about the post :( love this fair story though, silly boys.
ReplyDeleteI know - they were very sorry for about an hour - then they got over it!
DeletePerfect picture Lana! I've had the same kind of day! I'm getting ready to reveal my new travel blog as well as keep up with my Alzheimer Diary. So I've been website building ALL DAY LONG right now I'm at the point of "What the hell was I thinking" and "Please shoot me know"!
ReplyDeleteI laughed at this Rena! I have had so many days where I've said the exact same thing to myself. I'm sure your new blog will be just wonderful and worth it in the end!
DeleteSo glad I could at least cheer you up for a minute!
DeleteOh, no, Lana! That's terrible! I have had that happen to me a couple of times. Arggghhh! Love the pic of the boys, though!
ReplyDeleteYeah, the boys are cute. You mean this might happen again? Oh nooooo.....
DeleteOh Lana - so sorry to hear this happened this week! How frustrating!! But I am so impressed by the way you managed to publish a great post anyway. Great story to accompany the photo!!
ReplyDeleteI am challenged right now too - I've been writing a blog post in the dark in our hotel room, while my daughter sleeps to get ready for another day of competing in a swim meet ... and I feel hopelessly behind with reading other blogs, as I haven't had much computer time this week! Next week I will be back in a routine!
You've been doing great keeping up with your blog! We'll all be here when you get back!
DeleteOhh I am sorry you worked for hours on a post and then it was gone. Stupid google/blogger has done that to me a few times also. That is a fun photo of the boys. That is the best type of exhaustion by the way. LOL
ReplyDeleteI hope if never happens again, although I'm sure it will!
