Last summer, a friend brought a jar of homemade orange marmalade to a BBQ we were hosting. I had already planned to make s'mores for dessert, but the fresh marmalade got me thinking. While my hubby was grilling up the burgers, we came up with the following recipe.
Grilled Chocolate and Orange Marmalade Smores
Bread (I used white, but thinly sliced french bread would also work)
Orange marmalade (raspberry jam would be good too)
Nutella
Mini marshmallows
Butter
Spread one slice of bread with Nutella, and another slice with orange marmalade. Sprinkle one side with mini marshmallows, and put the two pieces together to make a sandwich. Butter the outside slices, and place on a medium hot grill. Cook until both pieces of bread are toasted and the marshmallows are melting, turning once.
These turned out so delicious, and even the kids liked them!
Happy Father's Day weekend! Hope you didn't get dad a tie...

DeleteI love chocolate and orange combo! Not a lot of people are into it or maybe they haven't tasted it. As I have a sweet tooth, I go crazy for any chocolate with nuts but the next best thing is chocolate with orange bits. I'm sure the smores turned out fantasic!!
